Resetting the ECU
Most vehicles today have an ECU or Engine Control Unit and other electronic engine management systems which control the air-fuel mixture for the engine. The on-board computer systems may need to automatically “reset” to adjust the air-fuel mixture so Green Fuel Tab products can improve mileage and reduce emissions.

If the mileage does not improve 10% or more, after three consecutive fill-ups while using Green Fuel Tabs, the ECU and management system need to be reset manually.
The ECU can be reset by having a mechanic use an engine monitoring device to erase the ECU memory. The ECU can then relearn the optimal fuel saving settings with the Green Fuel Tabs right away.
Disconnecting the car’s battery cables for 30 minutes will also reset the ECU. Please note that if this method is used, the station settings on the radio, which are also recorded on a computer chip, may be erased. So please record the station settings before disconnecting the battery cables so they can be re-entered if needed.
